New web page of the Spanish Socialist Studies Foundation Frederich Engels, the Spanish
publisher of Alan Woods and Ted Grant's works, of the marxist journal Marxismo Hoy and
reprints of Marxist classics like the Communist Manifesto, State and Revolution, etc. If
you read Spanish and want to know more about the Spanish Civil War, the struggle against

site, the Hillingdon strike site, current disputes, international labour links, and much
more. Labornet is its US based partner, with a lot
of US union sites and a very useful links page. Both are part of the Association for
Progressive Communications.

basically concerned with unions in the U.S. If you are looking for a labor union in the
U.S. this is a great place to start.

Machine Workers of America
A democratic national union representing some 35,000 workers in a wide variety of
manufacturing, public sector and private non-profit sector jobs. UE is an independent
union (not affiliated with the AFL-CIO) proud of its democratic structure and progressive
policies.

Although we may not agree with their policies, this site is nevertheless a good resource
for workers everywhere.

Campaign
The Clean Clothes Campaign (or the "CCC" as it is popularly called) aims to
improve working conditions in the garment and sportswear industry. Campaigners are
regularly in touch with organizations in a variety of countries, including those where
garments are produced, and in this way work together as a network to draw attention to
labour rights issues in the garment industry.

This is an group that is helping students orgainze against sweatshop activity. Learn all
