  • Draft Resolution to the YCL: Withdraw support to the Democratic Party
This resolution was put forth by YCL member Michael Feldman at their recent conference in Chicago.  While it did not get passed, there was support from the rank and file comrades. The WIL and YFIS believe that this resolution should be supported in the future, and all honest communists in the CP and YCL must adopt a class stance on the question of electoral politics.  No more support to the Democrats!  For a class-independent, mass party of labor, based on the trade unions, armed with a socialist program!  See also: An Open Letter to the YCL.

  • Greetings to the Comrades of the WIL! - Message from Ted Grant to the launch issue of Socialist Appeal
Socialism can only be achieved as a world system. The Soviet Union degenerated into the monstrous Stalinist regime because of the tremendously underdeveloped nature of its economy at the time of the revolution and, more importantly, because the revolution remained isolated to one country. If we are to learn one precious lesson from that experience, it is that the struggle for socialism must unfold internationally.

  • An Open Letter to the YCL
Comradely greetings to the Young Communist League! Youth for International Socialism, the youth group of the WIL feels that a dialogue should be opened between the activists of YFIS and the YCL. Both our groups are fighting against capitalism, for socialism, and for improving the conditions of workers in the here and now. But how are we to most effectively do this?
