Revolutionary Events in Latin America
All across Latin America there have been mass uprisings of the masses taking destiny into
their own hands against the forces of imperialism and reaction. From the Rio Grande to
Tierra del Fuego, there is not one stable bourgeois regime. These events should be studied
by every class-conscious worker and youth. This is not "ancient history",
but a classical proletarian revolutionary wave unfolding before our very eyes! We have
compiled a source for news and analysis on the revolutionary events in Bolivia, Venezuela, and Argentina (in both English and
Spanish).

the Second Anniversary of the Defeat of the Coup in Venezuela
Speaking to thousands of supporters gathered outside the Miraflores Palace, who were
celebrating the second anniversary of the defeat of the coup, Venezuelan President Hugo
Chavez placed the blame for the coup at the doorsteps of the Whitehouse in Washington

Afghanistan, Iraq, and Depleted
Uranium
The damage caused by the rampaging US imperialist machine goes far beyond the thousands of
dead civilians, bombed out infrastructure, and shattered nations. During the 1999 War on Yugoslavia, we predicted that
depleted uranium ammunition was being used which would result in negative long-term
effects on the population and environment. Sadly, our prediction was confirmed. Now the tragedy continues with the use of these
weapons in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Latin America: After Years of
Misery and Desperation, the Workers Say: Enough! by Luis Enrique
The present period of instability is a clear example of the intolerable contradictions
within the capitalist system on an international level. This situation has already found
forms of expression through both reactionary and revolutionary channels. In recent months
we have witnessed both the war in Afghanistan, and the revolutionary upsurge in Argentina
to give just a couple of examples.
