 Michael Moore’s new film exposes capitalism for what it is: a system based on the ruthless exploitation of the many by the few, who shamelessly loot people’s lifelong savings, the public treasury, and kick millions out of their homes. By the end of the film, capitalism stands roundly condemned, however, Mike is less clear as to what he is actually for. The Workers International League thinks it is important to state what is: capitalism is the problem, and socialism is the solution.

 Un nuevo volante de la Liga Internacional de los Trabajadores. Con las marchas del 1º de mayo, la inmigración se vuelve de nuevo en un tema de discusión. Desde el 2006, cuando millones de inmigrantes y aliados tomaron las calles en las históricas mega marchas de la primavera, mayo se ha convertido en un punto de referencia en la lucha por los derechos de los inmigrantes.  The labor leadership needs to mobilize the workers to demand an economic recovery plan to re-open and capitalize closed factories, to nationalize them under public control, to be run under democratic workers’ control. Our unions must take up the fight for a working class bailout – let the rich foot the bill! And as they say in the occupied factory movement in Latin America: “A Factory Closed is a Factory Occupied!”
