confnaz1 smallOver 150 comrades, from 25 different cities, gathered at the “El Pueblo” Arci Circle in Milan on December 6–8 for the national conference of “Sinistra classe rivoluzione” [Left Wing, Working Class, and Revolution], the name that the comrades of the IMT in Italy agreed upon during the proceedings. It was a relaunch of the organization, and there could be no better time for it! After years of relative calm, the Italian working class is reawakening, and along with it the class struggle.

Pakistan: 2014 Marxist Winter School Held in Mohenjo Daro

The venue was the five-thousand-year-old historical city of Mohenjo Daro. This city, excavated in 1922, is the largest among all the excavations of the Indus Valley Civilization.


Greece: Successful two-day meeting of EPANASTASI paper and the Communist Tendency of SYRIZA

conference2014-1The two-day national meeting held by the EPANASTASI (REVOLUTION) newspaper and the Communist Tendency of SYRIZA, over the weekend of December 20–21, was a big success. The meeting was attended by more than seventy activists, packed into the very welcoming hall of the "Art Garage." The rich content of the discussions and the participation of many young people were particularly encouraging.

Canada: Over 130 People Discuss the Mass Movement in Mexico at Concordia University

fightback-mtl-mexico-event-3Over 130 people packed packed into a small classroom at Montreal’s Concordia University on Nov. 19, to discuss the kidnapping of 43 students in Ayotzinapa and the developing mass movement in Mexico. The event was organized by Fightback/La Riposte in cooperation with SOSporMexico (Montreal); discussions took place in English and French, with consecutive translations. The discussion was very animated and passionate, with many people bringing forward many important points and contributions.
